Universidad del Valle, is a public state university founded in 1945, is located in the city of Cali, capitol of the Department of Valle del Cauca. Is one of Colombia’s three most important public university and the first one important in the south western region of the country and stands out for its academic excellence in the fields of Health, Humanities, Sciences, Arts, Economic and Social Sciences, Engineering , Business and Administration; focus in innovation and development in those areas of scientific and applied technological research.

 Universidad del Valle has two main campus in Cali and nine regional campuses throughout the Department of Valle del Cauca distributed in: Buga, Buenaventura, Caicedonia, Cartago, Palmira, Santander de Quilchao, Tuluá, Yumbo and Zarzal.
